One of our faves Shepherd Restaurant & Bar is looking to fill 2 positions in their FOH team! Read on for full job descriptions... 1. Part time role, mix of bar and floor service. The right person will ideally be confident, love engaging with people and have an interest in local craft beer, low intervention wines and exciting, contemporary food. 3 evening shifts a week between Wednesday to Sunday, approximately 15-20 hours total. Experience is necessary with previous experience in bars and/or restaurants preferred. 2. Full time wait staff position. This is on average 40 hours a week, Wednesday to Saturday evenings and either a Sunday morning or evening shift. This means you get two days off in a row (!!) with the exception of occasional functions and events (Mondays or Tuesdays). The ideal candidate will be passionate about hospitality & loves to express themselves through their work, all the while delivering a high standard of customer service. Experience is very essential, preferably at least a good 2 years working in high quality restaurant environments. A good base knowledge and enthusiasm for craft beer, low-fi wine and locally sourced, seasonal food is encouraged. Shepherd are a small, spirited and fun team who work hard and love what they do.
